Directions to the Closter Elk's

Palisades Parkway

North and South     Exit 2 and go south on 9W to first traffic light and make a right which is Closter Dock Road . Take Closter Dock Road down hill to second traffic light and make a right (Exxon Station) and make your second left which is VerValen Street . Go past the Closter Plaza through town and across the Railroad Tracks. After crossing the railroad tracks make a right onto Railroad Ave. Elk’s lodge is about 150yd ahead on your right as the road turns. We are across the street from John J Demarest, (Somewhat of a land mark)

 

Route 4 or route 80   

Exit Teaneck Road and head north. Teaneck road will turn into Washington Ave as you go through Bergenfield and Dumont . Keep going into Haworth were the road turns to Schraalenburg Road . After entering Closter ( about 6 miles from Route 4) you will see Delmonico’s restaurant on your right. Go past your next traffic light and make a right on the next street which is Cedar lane. Take Cedar lane past 3 stop signs. After going through you third stop sign continue down the hill. As the road bends you will see the Elks on your right and John J. Demarest on your left.

 

From NY.State.

Take route 303 South into New Jersey where becomes Livingston in New Jersey . Entering Closter Livingston becomes Knickerbocker Road . Go past reservoir and make a left at the Exxon Station on to Harrington Ave. Take past the park and into town. Once in town make your first left which is Railroad Ave. Elk’s lodge is about 150yd ahead on your left as the road turns. We are across the street from John J Demarest, (Somewhat of a land mark)
